Volleyball tickets on sale now
MORGANTOWN, WV — Tickets are now on sale for all 12 regular-season home games for the West Virginia University volleyball team, the Mountaineer Ticket Office announced Monday.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU-GAME, or at the Mountaineer Ticket Office, located in the Gold Gate of WVU Coliseum. All tickets are general admission.
When purchased online, tickets are $5 each and $3 for groups of 10 or more. At the WVU Coliseum box office, tickets will cost $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors, and $3 for groups. Online discounted prices will be available until first serve on match day. Fans are encouraged to pre-order tickets online at WVUGAME.com to avoid line-ups at the door.

The WVU Athletics Marketing Office also announced the 2022 WVU Volleyball Promotional Roster for the season.
West Virginia officially opens its national roster, when the Mountaineers host Merrimack, Binghamton and Delaware State in the annual Mountaineer Invitational Sept. 15-16. WVU will be giving out vouchers for a free hot dog and drink to the first 100 fans to attend Thursday’s game against the Warriors of Merrimack at 12:30 p.m. ET. Later in the evening, the Mountaineers will face Binghamton at 7 p.m. The game will be the first Weeknight Happy Hour of the season, with half off on all drinks from hourly doors open one hour before the game until first serve. Thursday night’s game will also be the first opportunity for fans to pick up a copy of the 2022 calendar poster.
West Virginia returns to the field Friday, Sept. 16, as the team takes on Delaware State at 6 p.m. WVU vs Towson home football game on Saturday, September 17. The match will also be a Happy Hour Weeknight match.
Saturday, Sept. 24’s game against Oklahoma will be the WVU’s first Big 12 contest of the season. The conference opener will be a Gold Rush match, all fans are encouraged to wear gold. Mountaineers will be giving away 500 Gold Rally Towels as part of the promotion, courtesy of WVU Medicine. Saturday’s contest will also be the Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer match, where climbers will don gold laces courtesy of the Go 4 the Goal foundation and WVU Medicine Children’s. The game will also be a Mountaineer Kids Club t-shirt pick-up day, with special appearances from the MKC Musket mascot as well as ball art and face paint from Mr. Twister. The first service is at 1 p.m.
West Virginia hosts Kansas State on Wednesday, October 5 at 6 p.m. for the team’s annual party luau. The first 300 fans in attendance will receive a gold/blue lei as part of the promotion. Friday’s game will also be a weekday Happy Hour from 5-6 p.m.
The Mountaineers return to the field on Saturday, Oct. 8 to take on Baylor at 1 p.m. Saturday’s match will be the annual pink match, presented by the WVU Cancer Institute. There will be a WVU hair/wrist scrunchie giveaway to the first 150 fans in attendance. Additionally, the WVU Cancer Institute will be on hand to sell official WVU Pink 2022-23 shirts for a minimum donation of $10. The match will also be the WVU Dance Team’s annual youth clinic day. Interested participants can register through the WVU Dance Team social media pages.
West Virginia hosts Chicago State on Saturday, October 15 at the WVU Coliseum at 1 p.m. The game will be Youth Cheer Day, as well as a canned food drive to benefit WVU’s student food pantry, the RACK. Any fan who brings in a canned food to donate will receive entry for just $3.
The Wednesday, Oct. 19 game against Kansas at 5 p.m. will be the first of two dollar nights of the season — all tickets and select concession items will be available for just $1. The contest will also feature Weeknight Happy Hour from 4-5 p.m. The game against the Jayhawks will also be the first of two home games televised on ESPNU.
The Mountaineers return to Morgantown on Wednesday, Oct. 26 to face Iowa State in the second nationally televised home game on ESPNU at 5 p.m. It will be Halloween at the Colosseum with themed promotions and a costume contest for young people. Fans will also have the opportunity to enter to win four tickets to the WVU vs. TCU Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 29. It will also be another Happy Hour on weekdays from 4-5 p.m.
WVU’s game on Saturday, November 5 at 1 p.m. against Oklahoma will be the day of the youth clinic. Registration information will be released in October and will be limited to the first 50 entrants, eighth grade and under. Saturday’s game will also include a t-shirt giveaway for the first 250 fans to attend. It will also be Mountaineer Kids Club day for WVU volleyball with a special giveaway of food for Kids Club members in attendance, as well as a T-shirt pick-up day. The MKC Musket mascot as well as Mr. Twister will be present.
Wednesday, Nov. 16, game with TCU at 6 p.m. will be the last dollar night of the season, with all tickets and select concession items available for just $1. Fans can also enter to win a gift of four tickets to the WVU Senior Day Football game against Kansas State on Saturday, November 19. It’s also another Happy Hour on weekdays from 5-6 p.m.
West Virginia will wrap up its regular-season home slate against Texas on Wednesday, Nov. 23. It will be Seniors Day, as WVU will celebrate their seniors’ careers after the game is over. In addition, the first 75 fans present will receive a mini volleyball. The game will also be the last Happy Hour weekend of the season. The first service is fixed at 6 p.m.
